CLASS RULES FOR BOG PIT
This is the database for the Professional Mud Racing Organizations collection of Bog Pit rules. It is non-binding and non-sanctioned. Everyone has an opportunity to participate in the submission of rules. All rules are welcome to be submitted and all rules are welcome to be used for events. To get the database started, the first four classes are from the 2008 Stompers4x4 Bog Pit Class Rules.
You notice each class has a PMRA assigned number for reference. Each "Class" submitted will get a number in the database. Although we should try to avoid redundancy, like style rules from any organization are also welcome. Keep in mind this is for the sanctity of the rules. It is not advertisement nor is it for trying to say that one collection of rules is better than another. They will also be listed in no particular order - so you may want to "title" a class such as "Stock" or "Pro-Stock." This is a rules reference database to draw class rules from. Whether it is a new class you have invented or just a small variation of an old class.
Even with all the diversity of rules, this is a great opportunity for those who would like to see universal rules. It is a platform to examine rules that are being used or suggested for being used. But it all hinges on everyone's participation.

Look to the PMRA section for the appropriate rules submission area. Then they will be transferred to this location. (Rather than spending time creating yet another message board or an elaborate submission system, this is the quicker means to the goal). Goal: Improve the sport.

A - CLASS
A-36.5 - FACTORY STOCK DOT TIRES ONLY . NO CUTTING ON TIRES. MUST BE ABLE TO PULL 14 INCHES OF VACUUM AT 1000 RPM. TRUCK IS ALLOWED 2 ATTEMPTS TO PULL 14 INCHES WITHIN 5 MINUTES WHILE THE TECH IS STANDING THERE. ABSOLUTELY NO CUTTING OR GUTTING, MUST BE FULL BODIED INCLUDING THE USE OF FACTORY METAL IN BED. MOTOR MUST MATCH MAKE OF BODY MANUFACTURE---CHEVY---IN A CHEVY ------FORD IN A FORD-----AMC IN A JEEP. MOTOR MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION!!!! NO RACE FUEL, MUST RUN ON PUMP GAS ONLY. MUST HAVE A FULL EXHAUST WITH MUFFLERS THAT AREA MIN OF12 INCHES LONG AND PIPES THAT COME WITH IN 1 FOOT OF THE REAR AXLE.,FUEL CELLS ARE ALLOWED. BATTERY MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION. NO AFTERMARKET HEADS, BLOCKS, OR DOMINATORS . HEADERS ARE ALLOWED BUT MUST BE IN THE FRAME TYPE.FRAME MUST BE STOCK. MUST USE FACTORY TYPE SUSPENSION THAT MATCHES THE BODY OF THE TRUCK. LIFT KITS AND TRACTION LIFTS AND TRACTION BARS ARE ALLOWED. NO ALTERING OF WHEELBASE IS ALLOWED. NO BODY SWAPS ALLOWED, TIRE MUST BE LOCATED UNDER STOCK FENDER WHEEL LOCATION. FIREWALL AND FLOORBOARD MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION AND MADE FROM FACTORY MATERIALS. ALL INTERIOR PANELS,ALL SEATS AND ALL OF THE DASH MUST BE STILL IN CAB .ONLY PARTS THAT CAN BE REMOVED ARE TOPS ON JEEPS ,BLAZERS, BRONCOS AND OTHERS THAT SHARE THAT SAME FEATURE THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE IF NO TOOLS ARE USED IN THE REMOVAL OF THE TOP. NO NITROUS,ALCOHOL, MULTIPLE CARBS, BLOWERS OR TURBOS ARE ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!! ALL LIGHTS MUST BE PRESENT AND IN WORKING ORDER, MUST HAVE ALL 4 BRAKES ON BOTH AXLES . MUST HAVE ALL GLASS, NO LEXAN WINDOWS. RADIATOR MUST BE IN STOCK LOCATION. NO VACUUM PUMPS OR DRY SUMPS FACTORY DRIVERS SEAT LOCATION ONLY.---NO PASSENGERS**PLEASE NOTE THAT STOCK IS ALSO A COMPETITIVE RACING CLASS AND SOME VEHICLES WILL BE HIGHLY TUNED WITHIN THE RULES. IN OTHER WORDS WHEN BRINGING THE DAILY DRIVER OUT BE PREPARED TO RACE AGAINST A STOCK TRUCK THAT IS BUILT FOR STOCK CLASS.

B - CLASS
B-40- AND UNDER SUPER STOCK UNMODIFIED DOT TIRES ONLY , THE TRUCK OR 4X4 BODY MAY BE CUT AND GUTTED, BUT MUST BE ABLE TO TELL WHAT OEM TRUCK BODY IT WAS FROM THE FACTORY. MUST HAVE A METAL FIREWALL. CAN HAVE FIBERGLASS FRONT CLIP , DOORS, AND BED SIDES. BUT MUST HAVE A OEM METAL CAB!!!!!!!!- DRIVER MUST SET IN FACTORY LOCATION BALANCER CAN NOT BE BEHIND THE FRONT AXLE TUBE, BODY SWAPS ALLOWED, MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO LEAF SPRINGS FOR EACH LEAF PACK,RADIATOR IN STOCK LOCATION -NO ALUMINUM BLOCKS OR HEADS UNLESS FACTORY PRODUCED AND CAN PASS CLASS A VACUUM TEST,NO DUAL CARBS, NO NITROUS, NO INJECTION.NO ALCOHOL, NO TURBOS, NO SUPERCHARGERS, OPEN HEADERS ARE ALLOWED, DOWN SWEPT ONLY!, MAY NOT POINT TO THE SPECTATORS, NO UPRIGHTS, RACE GAS ONLY, FUEL CELLS OKAY, NO TUBE FRAMES---- MUST USE A STOCK TRUCK FRAME------MUST HAVE A 4 POINT ROLLCAGE CONNECTED TO THE FRAME.---NO PASSENGERS

E-44-UNDER OUTLAW-----RAILS ARE NOT ALLOWED, NO TUBE FRAMES ANY MOTOR MOD’S , ANY BODY, ANY TYPE OF TIRES ARE ALLOWED ,ANY TYPE OF DRIVE TRAIN AND SUSPENSION ALLOWED DRIVER MAY SET IN ANY PLACE AS LONG AS THERE IS A METAL FIREWALL BETWEEN MOTOR AND DRIVER, MUST HAVE A 4 POINT ROLL CAGE CONNECTED TO THE FRAME---NO PASSENGERS

F- OPEN PRO MOD --- RAILS ARE ALLOWED ANY MOTOR MODS, ANY BODY ANY TYPE OF TIRES ANY TYPE OF DRIVE TRAIN, DRIVER MAY SET IN MIDDLE, AS LONG AS THEY HAVE A METAL FIREWALL IN FRONT OF THEM, MUST HAVE A 4 POINT ROLL CAGE AND 5 POINT HARNESS—NO PASSENGERS

G-RAIL- ANY 50 INCH AND UNDER TIRES MUST BE CUT OR PADDLE, NO TRACTOR TIRES!!, ANY FUEL,AND INDUCTION IS ALLOWED MUST HAVE MASTER KILL SWITCHAND A PULL KILL SWITCH, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!, MUST HAVE A 4 POINT ROLL CAGE AND A 5 POINT HARNESS., TRUCKS ARE ALLOWED IN RAIL CLASS PROVIDED THEY RUN CUT TIRES OR PADDLES.!!—NO PASSENGERS
